Week 6: Nittany Lions on Opposing Sides

Playing against my college coaches was definitely an interesting experience. It was a first for me seeing that I was injured during both match-ups against the Houston Texans last year. Going into the game I thought it’d be pretty cool to see and talk to those guys — all of us now in the NFL — and then play against them. Yet, even though this was a fun game because of my connections to them, just as in any other game I try not to get too caught up in who I’m playing against… and just focus on going out there and trying to make an impact for my team.

“They definitely helped me get to the next level.”

During their time at Penn State the coaching staff definitely had a great impact on me and my football career. They were key in my betterment as a young football player athletically and also in helping me gain more knowledge about the game. They definitely helped me get to the next level and I’m grateful to have been able to learn from them.

We see them again week 17– I look forward to leaving with a W the next time around.
